What happens if I cancel or reschedule in less than 24 hours of the service appointment time range?
We understand that life happens, and sometimes plans change unexpectedly. To ensure we can continue providing the best possible service to all of our clients, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. Our team works diligently to create a well-organized schedule, and last-minute changes can have a significant impact on both our team and our ability to accommodate other clients.
To help maintain fairness and keep everything running smoothly, a small fee will be applied for cancellations or rescheduling made within 24 hours of the appointment.
Please note that:
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment will incur an automatic $85 cancellation fee.
Rescheduling within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment will incur an automatic $50 fee.
What time can I expect the cleaners to arrive?
We work with a 2-hour arrival window to help us manage our schedule efficiently. This allows our team to navigate variables like traffic and breaks while ensuring that we can serve all of our clients on time.
For example, if you book a service from 8:00-10:00 AM, our team will either provide a specific arrival time or arrive within that 2-hour window.

How long will it take to clean my home?
This is one of our most frequently asked questions, and we totally understand why! However, there’s no set time for cleaning, as each home and situation is unique. We take great pride in the quality of our work and prefer to focus on doing the job right rather than rushing through it.
While we can give you a general estimate based on the size of your home, the amount of work involved can vary greatly.
What's included in the Everyday Cleaning?
Our standard cleaning includes:
- Appliances: Wiping down the exterior of all major appliances, including the refrigerator, microwave, and oven.
- Surfaces: Dusting and cleaning all surfaces, such as tables, countertops, desks, dressers, and more.
- Doors & Handles: Wiping down main door handles and doors, if needed.
- Floors: Vacuuming and mopping (where applicable) all floors in your home.
We also take care to tidy up any clothes left out, organize blankets and towels, and happily make the beds with fresh linens (if provided).
We pay extra attention to high-use areas, such as bathrooms and bedrooms, ensuring they’re thoroughly cleaned for your comfort and peace of mind.
We’re so thorough, you’ll be tempted to book us again the very next day… and yes, that can be arranged!
What's the difference between the Everyday Clean and a Deep Clean?
For a more detailed, intensive clean, we offer a Deep Cleaning as an add-on to the Everyday Cleaning (available at checkout). The deep cleaning includes:
- Baseboards and window sills (we can reach heights up to 8 feet)
- Air vents
- A deep scrub of all bathrooms
- Doors and doorknobs
- Wiping down chairs
Please note, the interior of appliances is not included in our deep cleaning.
We take great pride in our work, whether you choose the standard cleaning or add the deep clean, and we’re confident you’ll be fully satisfied with the results. If it’s been more than 4 weeks since your last cleaning, we recommend starting with a deep clean for the best results.
Do you clean baseboards?
Yes, baseboards are included in our Deep Cleaning service, which is an add-on to our everyday cleaning. Our team uses soft microfiber cloths and a gentle cleaning solution to carefully wipe down the baseboards throughout your home, making sure every corner is spotless. They’ll keep going until every last baseboard is cleaned—no detail is overlooked!
Are your cleaners insured?
Great question! Yes, we are fully insured, so you don’t have to worry about a thing. Our team is covered, and we take care of everything, so you can relax knowing you’re in good hands!
How much experience do our cleaners have?
We require each cleaner to have at least a year of experience, providing a solid foundation that we can enhance through our training program. This approach guarantees that our cleaners are ready to deliver exceptional service from day one.
Do you use in-house cleaners or subcontractors?
No, B&B Cleans is a referral agency, meaning we don’t directly employ cleaners. Instead, we refer qualified, carefully vetted professionals who meet our high standards and are trained to exceed customer expectations. We provide each cleaner with comprehensive training, checklists, and workshops to ensure they are fully prepared to meet your needs. As a domestic referral agency, we comply with the California Civil Code, acting solely as the matchmaker and platform provider—not as the actual cleaner.
Do you do background checks on your cleaners?
Yes, we conduct thorough background checks on every cleaner. This includes both national and statewide criminal record checks, as well as a driver’s license verification, to ensure your peace of mind.
Do cleaners bring their own supplies?
Yes, our cleaners come fully prepared with all the necessary supplies and equipment to get the job done.
Do you take special requests?
